Welcome to the Byron Bay Women’s Hub

Building Skills, Confidence & Connection for Women in Our Community

The Byron Bay Women’s Hub Inc. is creating a dedicated space in the Byron shire where women can gather to learn practical skills, build confidence and support one another through hands-on learning and creative collaboration

Our programs include

• Girls on Tools – practical woodworking and power tool skills

• The Sewing Circle Collective – textiles, sewing and repair

• Creative arts and music

• Sustainability and upcycling workshops

• Intergenerational skill-sharing between women

.Gardening and land care management

This initiative strengthens community wellbeing while empowering women to become confident creators, builders and leaders

Why This Matters

Many women want to learn practical skills but lack access to tools, mentors and supportive spaces.

The Women’s Shed provides

• A safe and inclusive learning environment

• Hands-on workshops that build real-world skills

• Community connection and mental wellbeing

• Opportunities for women to lead, teach and collaborate

This project will benefit and welcomes women of all ages and backgrounds while strengthening the wider community.. Together we can learn from, support and uplift each other. For community starts from the ground up and reminds us of the importance in connection.
