About us
Meet the team
Local Deidi Vine put a call out to the community to create a space where women can come together.
‘We had the founding women’s circle and around 40 women joined us. It was amazing, inspiring, exhilarating, and exciting,’ she told The Echo.
‘The variety of skills and abilities of the women and their willingness to share was amazing. Many of the women really emphasised how they needed the connection.
The Byron Shire Women’s Hub aims to create a community space where women can gather, to learn practical skills (power tools, furniture restoration, gardening), share creative skills (sewing, craft, music, voice), support one another with home projects, explore wellbeing and resilience together, and connect, collaborate, and build community.
Come along and join us

El Jones

Mum and co founder of family run business.
The Women’s Hub is a space to connect with women of all ages, including other mothers, in a setting that is not solely focused on parenthood, but rather complements it. I am enthusiastic to learn alongside other women in a new range of activities to add much needed creative spice to life.
Right now, community feels more important than ever!
I hope to build meaningful connections while developing new skills, and share the vision our Hub can be the place for this. I also hope to contribute valuable perspectives through my experiences as a mother, my professional background, and with a deep enthusiasm for giving back to my community.
